If I had to name my favourite song by The Clientele, Since K Got Over Me would be the favourite in a shortlist of two. (That has nothing to do with K getting over me, because I was over her years before I heard this song.)
The songs on the B side are attractive branches off the familiar Clientele track. The first is a Skip James cover, played by Alasdair on acoustic guitar, of which the Boy said, "this music looks scary". The second is a stoned slowburner, Spiritualized-style… Ah, silly me, the latter is actually a Spacemen 3 cover, which explains the family resemblance to Spiritualized.
