Bought eleven years after it came out, and after I got the single from the album, The Caution Horses was one of the several Junkies albums I got in the wake of their visit to Sheffield.
They get credit for being pioneers of building links with their fan community. Yet, to argue against what I said earlier, I can't help feeling that some of the mystique of the beautiful, quiet, slow songs on this album isn't undermined by knowing it comes from the same folksy, friendly people who are happy to hang out after the show and sign your CDs.
