I've no memory of getting this CD. I do know I've listened to it before, because, once you've listened to the ten-minute story of Sting's Dead (story of the sad death of the well-known singer), you'll never forget it.
I don't think the album has ever been on general release; it's more of a fan-club type of thing (a mix of unreleased studio tracks and live recordings from three tours). I wondered if Paul might have given it to me. I've mentioned how fanatical he is about Leven. He's very generous, too.
However, my records show I got the CD on 23rd March 2004, and my diary shows that, on that day, I saw Jackie Leven and David Thomas (a now-rare duet, sometimes known as UbuDoll) at The Borderline. Funny: I remember Paul talking to David Thomas at the bar after the show, but I don't remember anything about acquiring this CD. Maybe Paul did give it to me, or just recommend it to me.
