Around the time you provided my Van Morrison induction, this was his most recent album, and thus I think it may have been the second I bought, after Moondance.
It's probably the last one I'd choose to listen to. Not that it's bad. It's fine — again in the sense that Neil Young said Harvest was his finest album. That is, it's immaculate but uninteresting. Again, I find myself nodding along with almost every word of allmusic's review: "The performance is perfect. And if there's a problem with this set, that's it."
The Grand Opera House is very fine, too. That's where M and I saw Porgy and Bess.
The venue sits beside the Europa Hotel which may or may not have been the hotel most bombed during the Troubles.

Yep, that's what I heard, too. And was the Opera House itself damaged in one of the blasts?
