Music Arcades: Various: The Wire Tapper 24

This is the most recent issue of The Wire Tapper and it's unlikely that any after #24 will feature on Music Arcades.

It arrived with the October issue of The Wire. Unusually, there are no artists on it whose names I recognise, with the possible exception of the William Parker who collaborates with Ninni Morgia on Track 5 (I say possible exception, because this could be a different William Parker from the one I've heard on the radio). Last.fm tells me I listened to the CD on 16th September. You'd think I might remember some of the tracks; I don't.

Earlier this week I got a note through the post that the December issue was the last one in my current subscription. In the interests of trimming one more cost, I've decided to let my subscription lapse after 14 years without a break. I think you can get a digital sub now that gives you access to the full archive. As I haven't found time to give the magazine more than a cursory skim for several years, it seems daft to pay for a private paper archive to parallel the digital one, given that there's only a tiny bit of stuff that I'm likely to read.
