I've got a feeling there's a post a few years back on Music Arcades where I say that I haven't got the time, budget or collector's proclivity to go hunting down the original Clientele 7" singles. Turns out I was wrong on two of those counts, and the budget has had to take a hit in consequence.
I got this copy imported from Canada, so over a third of the cost was post & packaging. Now, of course, there are copies available in the UK.
Still, this version of (I Can’t Seem) to Make You Mine sung by Pam Berry, is, I think, exclusive to the single. Also The Relict turns out to be the soubriquet of Innes Phillips, original member of The Clientele in the days documented by It's Art, Dad.
