When I saw Nefertiti in Fopp in June 2000, I'd never heard of this particular album. But it was only £3 — presumably because the CD booklet looks like it was in the washing machine flood that put paid to much of Tim's record collection in his basement around the same time. A Miles album for £3 was a no-brainer. I still can't open the booklet, mind you (maybe I should try steaming it with a kettle), so what I know about the period and performers is all gleaned from Wikipedia.
I'm pleased that it means I now own a straight flush of seven Miles studio works from this, his last fully acoustic album in 1968, through to the other side of the metamorphosis with On the Corner in 1972.
