Back in April, I left you on tenter hooks, anticipating my first listen to this record and my oh-so-important verdict.
It's shit.
True, the Boy (finally recovering from a nasty cold), yelped, waved and bobbed to the intro of Waterfront. I pointed out the bassline to him, but then advised him that his future self might not want this enthuasiasm inscribed in his lifestream, lest future friends should mock and potential employers reconsider.
Simple Minds = gangs of knife wielding casuals and monstrous bombast?
