Remembering how rubbish Max Webster's Universal Juveniles was, I was a little horrified to find that I had a second album of theirs (yes, it is shelved right next to the other one, but Magnetic Air has no writing on the spine). When I saw the cover, it all came flooding back. Well, a little trickle. Unlike Universal Juveniles, I actually remember most of these songs, and even — frighteningly — the between-song patter. I can also see how the band might once have had an appeal. They're a bit like Coldplay in that respect.
It seems to be very rare, this record. Possibly only released in the UK, as a different album Live Magnetic Air (confusingly, Magnetic Air is also a live album) seems to have been released in other territories. It's still more or less worthless, mind you.
