For Stars: We Are All Beautiful People

The third and final of the clutch of For Stars CDs that I bought in Seattle in 2001. I remember quite liking the other two when I finally got them out of their wrapping. To be honest, I haven't even gone downstairs to check whether We Are All Beautiful People is still in its wrapping: I just fired it up on Spotify. And I didn't like it very much at all. It's less sparse than the others, and the fleshing out of the sound has shifted it towards run-of-the-mill whiney American indie.

But then I listened to the old albums on Spotify and they didn't sound so good this time round. Maybe you have to hear them on a proper stereo, rather than my computer.
