The 12" EP twin of Echoes in a Shallow Bay, delivered a couple of weeks earlier, if Wikipedia is to be believed. I can't remember whether I bought them both at the same time.
I prefer this one by a short head. I wonder if something went wrong at the packaging stage. In the track Pink Orange Red, Liz Fraser can be heard singing the "words" "Sultitan Itan" (towards the end). The track Sultitan Itan does not feature these words, however. I'm sure they'd claim this was as intended, and cite precedents such as AC/DC's If You Want Blood… album. But I reckon that's just a fib to cover up that someone mislabelled the tracks at the studio, or the label switched the running order without telling the cover art people.
