I thought at first that Tim had given me this, but I must have that mixed up with another Reggae Greats, because my copy still has a £7.99 Our Price label on it. Now there is a precedent for Tim leaving price labels on his gifts — but not for shopping in Our Price. So I think I must have bought it for myself.
Quite the reverse of yesterday's Todd Rundgren experience, just about all of these songs sound instantly familiar, even though I've probably only played the CD a handful of times. Completely infectious, though reggae sounds better with the '70s analogue vibe than with that '80s polished and Trevor Horned production, doesn't it?
