Having just had the first Miles record I ever owned, this is one of the most recent I bought. In fact I got it the same day as In a Silent Way, and before Pangaea, Agharta or Jack Johnson.
To be honest, I'd forgotten I had it. It must have been very cheap; less than a fiver. It better have been, because it's evidently a shoddy cheaply-licensed release. There's no credit for any of the group members (other than Miles) and no mention of where or when these live recordings were made. Evidently at different times and places.
The music found on Autumn Leaves relates to [Miles'] late 1950's [sic] style, and features tracks more famously included on Milestones (1958) and Kind of Blue (1959), as well as the earlier Round Midnight.
That's as specific as it gets.
The version of Kind of Blue's So What is an object lesson in how a great piece of music can flattened out and drained. One to avoid.
