There are a couple of odd things about this 12" release from 1985. Why put out an EP with a selection of tracks that were then between four and six years old? Was it to remind us that Fripp was a solo artist, following King Crimson's second exit from the marketplace after Three of a Perfect Pair? But he didn't put out any new solo material for a further nine years, so as a curtain-opener it was, literally, a non-starter.
I knew it was an indulgence to buy it as I already had all the tracks. But — and this is the really odd thing — I thought Fripp looked good on the cover. 1985, so much to answer for.
