Completing a sequence of my entire collection of KLF/JAMS/Timelords/Orb CDs, all compressed into the last seven weeks.
At the time that Doctorin' the Tardis became a No.1 hit, I liked the idea of it: the whole car-as-star thing; and the Doctor Who theme was not yet worn out through overplaying. However, I wasn't sufficiently interested to track down the music itself.
Some 15 years later, I relented. But I was right the first time. What I've learned from these last seven weeks is that the music is a useful adjunct to reading Bill Drummond's books, but doesn't really stand on its own. It has curio value, as exemplified by all that rapping with a Scots accent, which maybe paved the way for further devolution in the form of Goldie Lookin Chain.
