Various: Trojan Singles Box Set

I wondered how many Box Sets Trojan have released and, in answer, Google found me this amazing page of statistics, which says there were 69 as of last September, "giving a total of 3,436 tracks". That's a lot of listening.

I bought this set from Fopp early in 2001 on the "never mind the quality, feel the width" basis. A tenner for 50 tracks: that's 20 pence per track, which compares favourably even with emusic, and we didn't have emusic in 2001.

I listened to all 50 tracks just now. Not sure if I've ever done that before. I wasn't paying close attention, and nothing much leapt out of me. Never mind the quality.
