My most recent, and possibly final, attempt in trying to overcome the block I seem to have in not 'getting' Cabaret Voltaire, in spite of many indicators saying that I ought to like them a lot. Maybe the music hasn't aged well, in that it loses its sense of danger and innovation when viewed through the lens of hindsight, now that all those innovations have been absorbed into other musics. If, like me, you weren't into CV in the early '80s, that taste train has left the station.
