I can't remember how I came across Lamb — perhaps through Mixing It? I got this CD shortly after it came out, and remember playing it in my office in the Workstation.
Gorecki is the song you'll recognise, even if you can't remember where you heard it: it's been used in many places. I like Zero with its string quartet accompaniment.
This was never really my kind of thing. I'm more interested in Lou Rhodes from Lamb since she's grown her hair and become a folky: Lucy and I saw her at the Daughters of Albion evening as part of Folk Britannia at the Barbican last year. She was skipping round barefoot like a proper old hippy chick. And looking very well on it. A couple of weeks ago I downloaded some free tracks of hers from We7.com (which means they come with short ads, but still worth it).
