Ha! There I was yesterday saying I'm less keen on the early Joy Division, and here's a slice of it (along with the sublime Atmosphere). I put this on and Lucy chimes in with, "I like this — it should be louder, though…" Rock chick. She's been to Reading Festival, you know, more than once. You wouldn't catch me there.
I seem to remember this was poorly reviewed when it came out as not really worthy of the 'best of' tag. I must have got it just for the sake of having Atmosphere and Love Will Tear Us Apart on CD.
