Yet another birthday present… this one from Tim in 2001. I thought at first it was one of his successful selections, but time hasn't been kind to it. The album is initially charming — at first I thought it might be another breakthrough like Blue Lines — but, to my ears, the charm quickly palled. Destiny sounds so much like Air that it was no surprise it replaced Moon Safari as the ubiquitous soundtrack to every café-bar in the country.
I quite like Likufanele.
