I got this about five years ago. I suspect it was one of those CDs Fopp stack by the checkouts as 'impulse buys', and I suspect it was no more than three quid. It's got some artists I know of (Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Ralph McTell and a couple of the lesser-known Donovan tracks that feature, well, proper folk guitar) and some that I don't (John Pearse, Dave Murrell, Peter Berryman, Isaac Guillory).
Every track on the album was recorded in the years between my birth and my twelfth birthday, but, since all this stuff is back in fashion, they could as just as well have been recorded last year. I've no complaint about that. We saw John Renbourn at the Green Man Festival last year, and he was rapturously received by a packed tent.
