Something of a coincidence that the random number generator threw up all of my A.R. Kane singles in the last 18 days. This is much better than the second; almost up there with the first. (In terms of releases, I think this is the earliest of the three.)
If the version of Baby Milk Snatcher on the 69 album was a magazine article, the one here would be a novel. Much more space to it. It may also be that this is on vinyl: I always doubted that my ears were good enough to tell the difference between vinyl and CD, but listening to the two versions back-to-back today, the vinyl has so much more depth and dynamics.
I think the three other tracks, apart from Baby Milk Snatcher, are all exclusive to this EP. I like them. I like them all. I'm really glad I've dug out these old A.R. Kane releases recently. I always liked them, but had kind of forgotten them, since everyone in the band seems to have vanished. (Let me know if you know any different.)
