Here's another Rush 'collector's item' from a quarter of a century ago, like All the World's a Stage. I would have got this from an ad in the back pages of Sounds: I've still got the card envelope it came in, which has a return address of B.D.R. in Wivenhoe, Essex.
The collectable thing about it is that it's a 'promo' copy — if you click on the photo for a larger version, you'll see the little 'not for sale' inscription on the label of the record. Was I suckered out of three quid plus p&p? I don't know.
The song is one of Neil Peart's pithier pieces of homespun philosophising, a good one for singalongs at gigs. I'd forgotten the b-side, Madrigal, altogether until I played it just now.
