I got this for Christmas 2004 from a dutiful family member, after putting it on my Amazon wishlist. Whether I put it on before or after the great man died, I can't remember. After is perhaps more likely; but it could have been before.
It's a much better way to remember him than the 'tribute' album that came out a year after his death, which suffered greatly from being compiled via a compromised projection of Peel rather than by Peel himself.
This is one of the CDs I took as part of my quota for use in the hire car during our holiday in Sicily last summer. It went down particularly well in the passenger seat as well as the driving seat.
