Bryan Ferry: As Time Goes By

I bought this on cassette in July 2001. The only cassettes I've bought in the last twenty years have been those on the counter of Fopp, priced ridiculously low as 'impulse buys' at the checkout, so this must have fallen into that category.

I listened to it a fair bit in the car — because the car had a cassette player and no CD player. But I don't have a car any more. As is the way with cassettes, I'm not sure where my copy of this is now.

I remember it being OK. I like these songs from the '30s, but I didn't find anything particularly remarkable in Ferry's interpretations or arrangements.

Ah, found it. Still with its £2 sticker.
