Various/Jon Anderson: The Deseo Remixes

I've got a feeling I stumbled on this in a record shop in Dublin in '96 or '97. Deseo remixes? I'd never heard of Deseo, despite being a Jon Anderson fan. There were a lot of low key solo releases he did in the nineties that I only really found out about when the web matured. Most of them, it has to be said, are crap.

In common with mid-nineties remix practice, the original Deseo songs are by and large elided, making it very hard to tell whether they were any good or not. But I know where I'd place my bets. The remixes are arid and dated — further evidence of a miserable period in popular music — and at least twice as long as their ideas warrant.
