I bought this for the sake of completeness. Apparently director Jonathan Demme wanted some driving rock'n'roll to run behing the credits sequence, and showed Neil the credits with Southern Man playing to indicate his intentions. Neil came back with one of his sensitive piano ballads. Demme went to Bruce Springsteen with a similar request, and Bruce came back with a smouldering slow-burner. It's not often I say this, but I like Bruce's more.
