Ah, this shouldn't really be here, because I don't have it any more. I got the cassette very cheap from the counter in Fopp and kept it in my car. When I gave the car to Lucy at the start of 2004, the cassettes went with it. Then on the way back from holiday in July this year, I wrote off the car in a ditch on the side of a B road, south of Swindon. It was uncannily similar to the crash I had on the way to Clifden in 1994: a road drying after a downpour, a modest bend, the slight twitch of a slipping tyre that I tried to correct in vain, leading to a dramatic slide and finding the car on its side. No one seriously hurt, but that was the end of the Astra I'd been driving for nearly thirteen years. We had a lot of holiday luggage to unload into the taxi that took us home, and the cassettes were left for scrap with the car.
