The Mission: Garden of Delight b/w Like a Hurricane

The Mission: Garden of Delight b/w Like a Hurricane No prizes for guessing why I got this. The Mission's cover version of Like a Hurricane isn't quite as good as Roxy Music's.

The Mission only really entered my life because John Peel used to play them occasionally. Or maybe he played Sisters of Mercy and had stopped playing them by the time the half of the Sisters of Mercy morphed into The Mission. I can't remember. I do remember Lou saying her brother liked them — that would have been about the time this came out (June 1986).
