Frank Sinatra: My Way

Frank Sinatra: My WayHere's one that I bought more as a reference source than for regular or intensive listening. In the same way that you might buy a dictionary of quotations or the Complete Works of Shakespeare. So that you can gen up on them quickly if you need to.

When would you need to? Good question. Well, perhaps if you were going to dinner with someone whom you wanted to impress, and who you knew to be a Frank nut.

This is one of two Sinatra compilations I bought late in 2000, and another related reason for buying it was the 'project' I had on the go at that time. The project was to educate myself in as many areas of the craft of songwriting as possible — something inspired by my Damascene experience with 69 Love Songs.
